Often, it is hard to fine trust-worthy local news that doesn't pull any punches. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, the traditional news sites have started catering to the local government officials and bureaucrats instead of calling them out when things are done unethically or unlawfully.

Here at the East Alabama Examiner, we don't hold back; for that, we are outcasts in the traditional news media. But, we didn't start the Examiner to make friends. We started the Examiner to bring the facts, report the truth, and ensure the people of East Alabama are aware of our elected and unelected officials actions.
